It started out as MY hot tub. For health reasons, my husband and I purchased the Townhouse Elite, your smallest model as only I would be using it!

Recently I had brain surgery to remove a tumor that had permanently damaged nerves to my eye. The operation was a success but I was left with double vision which could only be corrected by tilting my head at an angle. This compensation resulted in constant muscle strain for my neck. I looked into hot tubs JUST as therapy. But in order to get the jets directed on my neck, I was always forced to submerge myself below the water line.

Then I found ThermoSpa and its Pillow Jet for my paradise! My husband still wasn’t convinced he’d enjoy being part of this paradise. Six months ago, he received a very unusual invitation from our grown son who had just completed his first marathon! Son thought it would be really special if his dad could run with him in his next marathon! A father and son togetherness event. Something they would remember forever. I was touched at his sentiment. However, to my husband, who was used to an occasional jog, the thought of running 26 miles was more than overwhelming. It wasn’t even to be considered!

But son wasn’t going to let it die. Thinking that a challenge would spark some consideration on his fathers part, he turned to his Godfather, my husbands best friend; and to him also extended this invitation. He took the bait. The snow ball was rolling and my husband was eventually caught in its path. Within weeks the trio were in training for their marathon. The 28 year old son from Boston, the 53 year old Godfather from Philadelphia and the 52 year old father from Albany, N.Y!

The one advantage the “father” had over his compadres was paradise. That’s right, MY paradise. His sore training muscles found a home in, you guessed it, MY ThermoSpa. I heard many a sign of relief after his training runs 5 miles, 10 miles, 15 miles, 20 miles. The trio has completed their mission; all receiving marathon medals! The only thing missing was the relief that could have come from a visit to PARADISE, THERMOSPA PARADISE. As the race was far from home the guys had to suffer with post aches and pains. I am happy to report my neck is feeling wonderful and so is my marathoner. Who would think therapy could feel so good and be fun too! How far we’ve come since WE’VE come to know ThermoSpa. We’re creating memories together too in our ThermoSpa!
